INSIDER INFORMATION AND TIPS -BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Bring you own water. There is water available but sometimes they run out even the vendors.
Wear very comfortable shoes and be prepared for them to get very dirty.
Be prepared to stand for long periods of time.
If you want early access to entry you need to contact your local Republican party headquarters and they will add your name to the list. The tent will be set up in the middle portion of the line and you will get a wristband for a seat and free water!
IMPORTANT: Once you clear security it's a free for all. If you want to sit in the bleachers or a chair you need to find a security person handing out wristbands. It can be confusing so select a point person in your group that will be responsible for doing this. There are no assigned seats, this is first come, first served.
Take note of where the entrance and exit is for the rally. If you can park on a side street that is not in the event you will be able to get in and out very fast and easy and avoid the huge traffic jam. Be prepared to walk up to a mile to get in. If you have a group you can drop them off in front to get in line, go park and join up with them.
Bring fully charged phones. The batteries will go out fast once the event begins.
Go to your seats and send 1 person out to get refreshments. Everyone should not go because your seats my get taken.
Make friends with the people surrounding you so everyone can work together getting in and out.
